We recently featured New York-based designer Elizabeth Roberts’ renovated brownstone (see House Call: Elizabeth Roberts in Brooklyn) and were taken with her ability to seamlessly mix high and low elements. In her master bath, she deftly does the same. Her intent was to make the space feel as spacious and open as possible. Achieve a similar look with the following elements.

Above: Roberts installed a Porcher Marc Newson Pedestal Lavatory Top Sink. Alas, the sink is no longer available, but for something similar try Duravit’s Happy D Washbasin with Pedestal; $528.73 available from Plumber Surplus. The Duravit Happy D Wall Mounted Toilet is $448 from Every Faucet.
